1^st International Student Symposium on "Folklore and Ethnomusicology" will be held by ITU Musicology Club in Istanbul, TURKEY, from April 2 to April 4, 2008. A wide attendance of students from Turkey and various countries in social sciences, music and other related areas is being expected.

The proposals will be presented in English or Turkish. In addition to the proposals there will be different workshops, exhibitions and concerts.

The proposal abstracts should be limited to 250-300 words and contain the keywords. Abstracts should be written using Times New Roman of 12 point font size, and 1.5 space. For this aim, the proposal abstract form should be sent via e-mail.
